Terminology

Texture packs vs resource packs

The two names describe the same idea at different ages. "Texture pack" is the older, more familiar term for a set of images that reskins blocks and items. Bedrock Edition today officially uses resource packs — a broader format that can change textures plus sounds, UI elements and other visual assets. Every pack in this library is packaged as a Bedrock resource pack, so it installs the official way; we say "texture pack" on this page because that is what most players call them. Neither kind changes gameplay rules — for behavior changes, look at add-ons instead.

Install

How installation works on iOS

Packs from Addon Hub install through Minecraft's own import flow — no file juggling. The short version:

  1. Pick a pack in Addon Hub Preview how blocks and UI will look before you commit.
  2. Export to Minecraft Addon Hub hands the pack to the game, which imports it automatically.
  3. Activate it in your world Turn the pack on in world settings under Resource Packs — per world, so your other worlds stay untouched.

FAQ

Common questions about texture packs

Do texture packs work in Minecraft Bedrock on iPhone and iPad?

Yes. Bedrock Edition on iOS supports resource packs natively — you import a pack, then activate it per world in the Resource Packs settings. Addon Hub packages every pack in this library in that official format, and the install guide walks through the whole flow.

What is the difference between a texture pack and a resource pack?

"Resource pack" is the official Bedrock term; "texture pack" is the older name most players still use. A resource pack can change textures plus sounds and UI, while a texture pack in the classic sense only reskins blocks and items. Everything here installs as a standard Bedrock resource pack.

Why is there no Android version of this library?

This library is delivered through JoyTellect Addon Hub, which is currently an iOS-only app — there is no Android version. Android players can still create and import custom skins with JoyTellect Skin Maker, which runs on Android as well as iPhone and iPad.

Can I remove a pack after installing it?

Yes, and nothing about your world is lost. Packs are purely visual: deactivate one in the world's Resource Packs settings to go back to the default look, or delete it entirely from Minecraft's global storage settings. Your builds, items and progress stay exactly as they were.
