Overview

What JoyTellect Addon Hub does

Addon Hub lets you browse, preview and import add-ons, skins and texture packs for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition — the edition of Minecraft that runs on iPhone and iPad. Every item shows a preview and a compatibility note before you commit to downloading it.

The app is available for iPhone and iPad, and it is published on the App Store under the store name “Addons, Skins & Textures Packs.” Because Bedrock is the only edition of Minecraft on iOS, everything in the library is packaged in Bedrock’s content formats and comes with short import guidance written for iOS — no computer, no file juggling.

What’s inside

Three content categories, one library

Everything in Addon Hub falls into one of three categories, each with previews and per-item compatibility notes.

Add-Ons

Packs that change how the game behaves — new creatures, items and mechanics for Bedrock worlds. Each listing explains what the add-on changes before you import it.

Skins

Ready-made character looks you can apply in a couple of steps. Browse the library, check the model type, and import.

Texture Packs

Packs that change how blocks, items and interfaces look in Bedrock — from subtle refreshes to full visual overhauls.

Maps and seeds will be listed on this page only after the in-app inventory is verified.

How it works

From preview to playing in four steps

Every item in Addon Hub targets Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Also known by the legacy names Minecraft PE or MCPE.

Step 1

Preview

Open any item to see preview images and a short description of what it adds or changes.

Step 2

Choose

Check the compatibility note against your Bedrock version, then pick the pack you want.

Step 3

Import

Tap import and the pack is handed over to Minecraft on the same device — guidance is built in.

Step 4

Play

Activate the pack in your world settings or pick your new skin, and jump into the game.

Compatibility and limitations

  • Minecraft: Bedrock Edition must be installed on the same iPhone or iPad — Addon Hub prepares content, but the game itself does the playing.
  • Content compatibility varies by Bedrock version. Check the compatibility note on each item before importing, especially right after a major game update.
  • Some items require a recent version of Addon Hub. If an import option looks missing, update the app from the App Store first.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between add-ons and mods?

Add-ons are the official customization format for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition — they change behaviors, creatures and visuals within the rules the game itself supports. “Mods” usually refers to community modifications for Minecraft: Java Edition on computers, which work differently and are not compatible with Bedrock on iOS. Addon Hub deals only in Bedrock-format content.

Is Addon Hub really iOS only?

Yes. Addon Hub is built for iPhone and iPad and is distributed only through the App Store. There is no version for any other platform. If you want a JoyTellect app on other devices, JoyTellect Skin Maker has wider platform coverage.

How does importing content into Minecraft work?

Pick an item, preview it, then tap import. Addon Hub packages the content in Bedrock’s format and hands it over to Minecraft on the same device, where it appears in your packs or skins list. The app shows short guidance at each step, and the full walkthrough lives in our install guide.

How much does Addon Hub cost?

Free to download with optional in-app purchases. You can browse the library without paying; optional purchases unlock additional content and features, and current terms are always shown on the official App Store listing.

Where can I get help with the app?

Start at the JoyTellect support hub — it routes setup, import and billing questions to the right place for each app, and links to our step-by-step guides for common tasks.
